About me as a Supervisor
Clinical Supervision for Counsellors Linda Denaro
Hi, I’m Linda
A Relationship Counsellor, Clinical Supervisor and Educator. I genuinely care about walking alongside other counsellors as they grow in this profession. Supporting other counsellors to build their confidence, strengthen their skills, and feel encouraged in the important work they do is something I’m truly passionate about.
Over the past nine years, I’ve worked as a Relationship Counsellor in private practice, supporting individuals and couples through the complexities of communication struggles, separation, co-parenting, betrayal, trust issues, and blended families. Alongside this, for the last seven years, I’ve had the privilege of teaching and mentoring students as they complete their Diploma of Counselling within registered training organisations.
My work with couples, families, and neurodivergent clients has given me deep insight into how these experiences shape us, both as individuals and as practitioners. It’s something I bring into supervision with care, respect, and understanding. If you’re a counsellor who identifies as neurodivergent, please know this is a safe, supportive space where you’ll be understood and valued.
I believe supervision for a counsellor is one of the most powerful ways we can support each other in this field, not just by building clinical skills (although that’s essential) but by creating a space where you can reflect, untangle challenges, celebrate your growth, and stay connected to your purpose as a counsellor.
My approach to supervision is warm, collaborative, and flexible. I’ll meet you where you’re at, whether you’re just starting out or looking to deepen your practice and walk beside you as you grow. As an ACA Accredited Supervisor (COS10585), I work in line with ACA’s Code of Ethics and professional standards, which you can read more about here: ACA Code of Ethics and Practice.
